More than

I'm a software engineer and tech lead based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. For the past 3+ years I've been shaping the mobile experience at Banco Popular — one of the country's most widely used banking platforms.

My work isn't just writing code. It's understanding what people need, figuring out what's actually possible within the constraints we have, and then building something that holds up — from the first line of documentation to the last deployment into production.

I got here through a path that includes QA engineering, team leadership, and a deep curiosity about how software actually reaches people and changes the way they interact with their finances.

I believe that the best software is built by people who understand both the problem and the human on the other side of the screen.

Outside of work I'm driven by things that make life textured — music, exercise, photography, philosophy, and trying to explore life as hard as I'm able.

I think being a well-rounded person makes you a better engineer. The curiosity that pulls me toward a good book is the same curiosity that makes me want to understand a problem from every angle before I build a solution.
